Into the Ice, Scoresbysund, GreenlandScoresbysund is the largest fjord system on Earth, and one of the most remote places I've been fortunate enough to visit. This was taken deep inside one of its tributary valleys, where a heavily crevassed glacier pushes between dark rock walls that disappear into cloud. The light was completely flat that day. Dense mist wrapped around the upper cliffs and killed any shadow, which actually works in the image's favour. It forces your eye straight down
