Red Sunset II, GreenlandThe iceberg sat square in the fjord like a building, flat topped and massive, its face catching the last warmth of a Greenland sunset. The water was completely still. Not a ripple. Everything from the horizon up was layered in orange and pink, the altocumulus clouds stretched out in long bands across the sky, each one lit from below. What I love about this photograph is the scale. That dark mountain ridge on the right gives you something to measure
