Charming Vintage Painted Wooden Box with Shenandoah Valley Style DecorationI would guess maybe 1940s on this box but I am not completely certain. I love it for the hand painted decoration, which I think might be best described as Shenandoah Valley in style, somewhat in the manner of Johannes Spitler (1774 1837). What do I know, I just think it is lovely, and the bright yellow interior, too. Carefully hand painted, with some aging to the paint for sure, and I especially love the two intersectiing blooms at center, like
