Forest Trail, Glendalough, Co. WicklowThis is almost certainly the oldest photograph in my collection. I made it in Glendalough at a time when I was barely figuring out what landscape photography meant for me. Still learning how to see. Still working out the difference between pointing a camera at something nice and actually making a photograph. It's a small track off the main trail through the valley. Nothing dramatic. A footpath winding through oak and birch, tree roots breaking through
