Slea Head, Dingle. Co. KerrySlea Head on a rough evening, with the Atlantic throwing itself against the slate ledges that jut out along this stretch of the Dingle Peninsula. The Blasket Islands sit low on the horizon, half lost in the murk. Heavy cloud covered most of the sky, but a narrow gap opened high in the sky, letting through a band of warm light that caught the spray and the wet rock faces. That's what held me there.
