Skellig Michael Panoramic, Co. KerrySix hundred steps up from the Atlantic and you're standing among buildings that are fourteen centuries old. Still intact. The clochns sit on their narrow terrace above a sheer drop, dry stone corbelling as sound now as the day the monks finished them. Wildflowers crowd the gaps between each hut, flowering in late spring light. I've been fortunate enough to photograph Skellig Michael several times, and this was the evening that made it all worthwhile.
