Iceberg II, GreenlandThe fjord was completely still when I made this photograph. Not a breath of wind, the water like dark glass. That kind of calm is rare in East Greenland, and when it happens you work quickly because it never lasts. This iceberg had a jagged, angular profile that caught my attention immediately. It rises to a sharp peak on the right of the frame, its full shape doubled in the reflection below. Smaller bergs are scattered through the middle distance,
