Cromwell Point, Valentia Island, Co. KerryCromwell Point lighthouse sits at the northern tip of Valentia Island, a small white tower with its distinctive red lantern room looking out towards the Skellig rocks. I've photographed this spot in all kinds of conditions, but it's days like this that suit it best. Low cloud sitting on the hills behind, the Atlantic pushing hard over the dark rocks in the foreground, and that flat, diffused light that brings out every shade of green on the headland.
